Welcome to Koonung Secondary College. Koonung Secondary College is a vibrant and thriving learning community located in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs, close to public transport, surrounded by parkland and excellent sporting facilities.

Our College motto, ‘Excellence through Endeavour’ guides our work and approach in ensuring that every student is provided with the key skills to reach their aspirations and goals. We are a College that consistently focus on self-improvement, including our approaches to improving teaching and learning as well as the physical environment. The College opened a new $6.05 million Middle Years learning space in 2023 and the planning for the renewal and re-development of learning spaces is continuing.

Our students’ VCE results and NAPLAN achievement is consistently strong, and we are proud of the pathways of our students. We have a supportive parent and carer community and exceptional links to community groups to ensure that every student develops holistically in a wide range of endeavours.
