It is no secret that Koonung SC is providing an excellent education for your children. After being selected as a 2020 winner in "The Age, Schools that Excel" list Koonung has featured in The Age on Saturday 18 May 2020.
On 3 August the Victorian Government announced that, on the advice of the Victorian Chief Health Officer, metropolitan Melbourne will move to Stage 4 restrictions to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). The changes to schools’ operations will come into effect from Wednesday 5 August.
Please note that following advice from the Department of Education all planned events and tours scheduled for the remainder of the term have been postponed until further notice.
Congratulations to the Year 12 Class of 2019. We are extremely proud of the excellent overall VCE results, which included many outstanding individual and subject scores.

We recently received exciting news that $6.05 million dollars has been allocated in the State Budget to improve our facilities at the College. The process to start planning should begin as soon as possible, there are very exciting times ahead.
Following the outstanding success of last year's musical "Legally Blonde, the Musical" we are eagerly looking forward to "All Shook Up". This musical is inpired by and will feature the unforgettable songs that have stood the test of time from Elvis Presley.
42 students and staff along with some experienced volunteers spent three days in the cold with snow falling and strong winds. A large group of students who had not skied before rose to the challenge with encouragement and support from their peers and staff. Well done and thank you to all involved.
I recently had the pleasure of accompanying five Year 11 girls to the Royal Women’s Hospital as part of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
Koonung Day 2019 delivered everything it promised-to be an exciting celebration of all things Koonung. The whole day was be dedicated to appreciating our community and school, boasting a large selection of stalls, events and performances from students and staff.
